The Operation

Everything starts with the supply of raw materials. Textiles and shoes areis collected from various charity shops and textile banks, throughout the East Midlands by our own fleet of vans and trailers.

When the vehicles arrive at our factory the recycling starts. All bags are opened and fed to a regulator to control the flow to a conveyor belt system. Heavyweight items, shoes and waste are removed first. This follows through until the last items to be removed into their respective cages are lightweight clothing. Once all items have been separated, the process of fine grading starts. Experienced staff inspect each item before they are placed into tubs and weighed.

Many items are identified and bagged.

Other tubs are placed into an electronic lift to be sent up to our large baler and gantry system. This allows the three, twin balers to be gravity fed and compress items in 500kg bales. All thisis done on a photo electric system attached to our bailers and conveyors.

Once baling is complete the finished bales are taken into the shipping area for loading into sea containers for dispatch to all corners of the globe.

All goods are dispatched direct from our large 48,000 sq.ft warehouse and storage area.

Boxes of wiper cloths are sold to local industries.

All loading is carried out internally to avoid the goods being exposed to bad weather. This ensures they arrive at their destination dry and in good condition.
